Magada
Magada are seldom seen in groups due to being intensely territorial. This aggression extends to any would-be interloper into their domain. Fortunately, they are only ever typically found near Amajima's volcanoes, hot springs and other geothermal locations. Their bodies are bright red and slender, appearing almost amphibian, tucked away into a black, hard urn shaped shell. The shell, which resembles igneous rock, can be fully retreated into. However, Magada seem to rather prefer lashing out, spewing heat and bolts of lava at its foes. Despite being such an aggressive Chronikin, many Archivist search them out, claiming that the trials associated with bonding are a sign of divine providence. Due to this, they are often associated in many creation myths of Amajima.

Fractured form
Magada are intensely territorial and usually found near Amajima's volcanoes, hot springs, and geothermal regions. Their bright orange bodies retreat into urn-shaped shells resembling igneous rock, though they often prefer to lash out with heat and bolts of lava.

Balanced form
Balanced Magada can no longer contain their massive forms within their urns. Heated flesh spills outward like magma, and their aggression grows. They can slam their tails into the ground, erupting lava that propels them forward with terrifying force.

Fabled form
The Fabled Magada has reached godlike stature. Its molten body twists with impossible motion, warping the air into an oppressive volcanic haze. Where earlier forms fought from fear or anguish, this form embodies pure wrathful carnage and delights in scorching all in its path.
